CERTIFICATIONS
The UNI EN ISO 9001 certification, which is periodically audited by the relevant body and held by Tecnofondi S.p.a. since 1996, guarantees that the company implements internal quality management procedures and that the organization is capable of monitoring the entire production process, from raw material order acquisition to after-sales support.
Furthermore, since 2002, Tecnofondi has been declared a material manufacturer in accordance with Annex 1, par. 4.3 of the PED 2014/68/EU (EX 97/23/EC) directive, for which its organizational system has also been verified and certified in compliance with the German AD2000-Merkblatt W0 specifications.
Finally, at the beginning of 2016, the company received UNI EN 1090 certification from the notified body Intertek Italia Spa for its cold leveling and cut-to-length activities for coils.
These activities are therefore compliant with the current regulations for the construction of structural components and kits for steel structures in execution class EXC3. Consequently, Tecnofondi is able to provide CE marking and the Declaration of Performance (DOP) for these activities, as well as providing the same certifications received from its qualified suppliers for the processed material.
At the beginning of 2019, Tecnofondi received MOCA certification (relating to materials and objects intended to come into contact with food) from Intertek Italia Spa. This certification attests that the Tecnofondi management system for stainless steel products has received a positive technical evaluation for food-grade use.
Since the beginning of 2026, Tecnofondi has also obtained UNI EN ISO 14001 and UNI EN ISO 45001 certifications, issued by an accredited body, confirming the adoption of a structured and controlled management system for environmental aspects and occupational health and safety, respectively. These certifications attest to the company’s commitment to monitoring and continuously improving its environmental performance, preventing occupational risks, and protecting workers, in compliance with current regulations and the highest international standards.
